Anyway, so I was looking for graduate schools and I found that you have to know foreign languages...does this mean I should take some languages in undergrad? I mean I guess I have Spanish in the bag, but the descriptions made it seem as if I need to know more than one...well, whatever I guess I will worry about it later.
So, all this talk about the future took me to the good 'ol days when kids used to say the priceless line, "When I grow up I want to be..." I was reminded of this during a conversation with my mother. It goes a little something like this:
Me: When I grow up, I want a boat.
Mom: *Gives weird look* When you grow up?
Me (to myself): I can still say that right? I mean I'm technically not a grown up.
I tried to think of what I said when I was little in response to what I wanted to be when I grow up.
1. A gymnast
- I am so far from that career right now, it is not even funny. Actually its hilarious. Anyway I remember always wanting to be one, but never being enrolled into a gymnastics class as a child. Also that was a silly dream, I think I read too deep into the Olympics.
- Also far from this dream and terribly clumsy on ice.
- Now this is something I could possibly see happening. I mean now and days you just upload a couple of vids to YouTube and you are set. Justin Bieber anyone?
Also a little reminder of what the future can hold for us:
